Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file:

Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file means that the file path cannot be accessed by the windows installer. It is mainly because of additional permission required or due to an antivirus program.
These errors are common while installing any software like games software, audio or video software etc.




How to fix it ?

Just check the antivirus program such as Nortan , kaspersky etc. Mainly these antiviruses will try to block the application while installing. Lets see how to stop the antivirus program for installing the software.

BEFORE:
 I am using Norton Antivirus, check out how to stop the services


AFTER:


stop all the services before installing the software when you are getting the error message. After installing the software start the antivirus by enabling all the services.
