This error is common due to some bugs will be stored when you install a custom ROM on your android device. And mainly these type of error  are common due to ROM where you are downloading, the site which you are downloading cannot give assurance. They will say only AT YOUR OWN RISK.

At first I had MIUI V5 on S3, i had the same difficult, when ever i take screenshot i used to get the error message like "couldn't capture screenshot or storage may be in use". And when i tried to download the picture from my Facebok app, I got an error message like NO SD CARD FOUND.

But finally, I switched to new custom ROM, i didn't receive any message like that.By following  the video 

IMPORTANT; There is another way of solving this try to makeout a backup, and then reset your phone, your problem will be fixed.By resetting it your missing files will be replaced automaticaly
